What you get
- We check the official state PFAS pages on our published watchlist every business day (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays).
- When one of those pages shows a change to a PFAS product ban, deadline, reporting rule, or enforcement status, we email you a reviewed alert within 3 business days of the change appearing on a page we monitor. Every alert links the official source.
- On the first business day of each month, we email a short digest of what changed, or a note that nothing changed.
- Coverage: the 17 states listed on our watchlist below, for consumer-product PFAS laws.
What's not covered
- Firefighting foam or firefighting gear rules, in any state.
- States whose PFAS laws only cover firefighting foam or gear (for example Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin).
- Federal rules, including EPA TSCA PFAS reporting.
- Drinking water rules.
- Pending bills, until they're signed into law.
- Advice about your specific products. Alerts describe what an official page changed; they don't tell you whether a rule applies to your product.
Our alerts cover what appears on the pages we monitor. A law can be signed before any agency page mentions it, so we don't claim to catch every change everywhere.
